Duet Exercises in Level 1 are classic melodies played with the fingering notation learned in Level 0. Because the duets are simple to read, they give students the confidence and willingness to play on their own. Once the duets are learned, they can be played for fun or performed as a duet with the included secondo part. In Level 1 the secondo is the duet melody written in its original form with notes.
